Using hashtags

While paid advertising is an option, you can also reach audiences for free. The TikTok algorithm, which decides what content a user is shown, curates videos to users’ interests, meaning that your videos will be shown to users who will likely enjoy your products. One way the algorithm determines a user’s likes is by analyzing hashtags. If you use hashtags on your videos, they are more likely to be shown to users interested in your products. It also allows users to find your video when searching for a hashtag.

Taking advantage of trends

TikTok can be credited for both the birth and the death of most trends, though it can be confusing to keep up with. However, taking advantage of trends as they happen will make your business seem more reputable and accessible. Additionally, videos that use trendy sounds or ideas are typically more popular and shown to more users.

Interacting with customers and/or other businesses
